Principal Vascular Technologist

Description

I - Performs accurate, quality 12-lead electrocardiograms in a timely manner, and all department-related paperwork.

II - Performs all functions of a Tech I - accurate, quality stress tests in a timely manner, and all department-related paperwork.

III - Performs all functions of a Tech II - accurate, quality EEG tests in a timely manner, and all department-related paperwork.

IV - Performs all functions of a Tech I, II and III and has a current Neuro-diagnostics Credential.

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of patient's status. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide for the primary population of patients served in the department.

Required Qualifications :

• Registered Vascular Technologist upon hire or
• Registered Vascular Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire or
• Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography upon hire or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer upon hire or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
