Job descriptionUnofficial transcripts are required for all Adjunct faculty and Faculty positions. Assist in meal preparations to ensure food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner. Maintain organization and cleanliness in the kitchen and in food prep areas. Follow all center, state, national accreditation, and federal food program regulations. Ensure all equipment necessary to prepare meals is operated properly. Incorporate produce from the Children’s Garden in meal planning when possible. Gather materials for classroom cooking or nutrition activities when needed. Collect laundry from classrooms, place in washing machine, move to dryer, fold, and return to classroom. Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity, may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling, shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.
Position Summary :
Assist in the food service and laundry operations at Hiersteiner Child Development Center (HCDC).
Required Qualifications :
- Entry-level support role.
- Performs routine tasks as directed and under close supervision.
- Requires a High School Diploma and 0-3 years of related experience.
