We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor / Delivery, Postpartum Recovery (LDPR) Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with comprehensive patient care. The Registered Nurse will plan, implement, and document nursing care based on individual patient needs through initial and ongoing assessments.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct assessments to identify patient needs and establish priorities for care.Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care based on assessments and patient medical diagnoses.Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care for patients throughout their stay.Document care accurately, based on standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.Advocate for evidence-based practices and support innovative care delivery methods.Provide patient-centered care that aligns with professional nursing practice models.Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal care delivery for both mothers and newborns.Patient Ratios :
Mother / Baby : 1 : 3-4Labor Patients : 1 : 2Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience is required.Education :Required : Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)Preferred : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Certifications :Required : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRPPreferred : None specifiedSkills :
