Cottonwood Physical Therapy

Oversees all matters concerning daily operation of patient registration and scheduling appointments. Performs efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and registration of outpatients. Ensures that accurate and complete patient data is collected and that all managed care requirements are met. Explains Medical Center policies and procedures to patients.

Essential Job Functions :

• Maintains knowledge of all operative software and maintenance routines.
• Schedules clinic, outpatient and / or other appointments.
• Promotes a positive and professional image.
• Registers all patients for the clinic, hospital and / or emergency department.
• Ensures patients charts are signed by physicians and forwarded to medical records.
• Enters correct billing as given by the rehab providers.
• Assists with insurance, prior authorization and re-authorization for rehab services.
• Orders supplies as needed and requested by the rehab providers.
• Maintains confidentiality of all hospital and patient information at all times. Follows HIPAA regulations and policies.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.
• Communicates with patients, families and co-workers in person, in writing and on telephone.

Minimum Qualifications :

Full time, 40 hours per week, M-F 8 : 00-4 : 30 SMH is EOE
