Business Analyst III

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Business Analyst with a strong background in renewables and a solid understanding of Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (vPPA) settlements. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless Purchase Order management, accurate payment tracking, invoicing, and Renewable Energy Credit (REC) administration. Key Responsibilities :

• Standardize data entry procedures and maintain accurate tracking of project information.
• Manage routine updates and maintenance of the project portfolio database.
• Serve as the primary external point of contact (POC) for CaRE analysts, while supporting internal backend data management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and project-specific requirements.

Background :

Focus on renewables, with experience as a developer or owner of renewable projects.

Act as a consultant for renewable data analysis and management.

Initial candidate sourcing will exclude utility references; however, utility experience may be considered if necessary to meet volume or quality requirements.

Qualifications :

2-4 years of relevant experience; open to candidates with more experience.

Background understanding of how types of renewable settlements work (such as RECs, VPPAS), deregulated vs regulated markets.

Experience with Environmental Attribute Certificates / REC tracking systems.

Experience with POs and Invoicing.

Detail-oriented, even during repetitive tasks, comfortable with Excel experience with Salesforce.

Additional Responsibilities :

Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.

Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.

Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki / Knowledge Base.

Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
