Mission of the role : This position will champion solutions for our semiconductor customers and demonstrate Mott's technical expertise in filtration, purification and flow control. Working directly with the commercial and engineering teams, this role will ensure customer satisfaction by rapidly identifying solutions and providing world-class service.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with customers to provide custom filtration, purification, and flow control solutions to technical problems in the Semiconductor market

Provide guidance to customers in need of technical help related to Mott's product lines

Build accurate cost estimates for commercial team in a timely manner

Recognize business patterns and market trends which allow Mott to stay competitive and launch new products

Gain insight into customer applications and use of Mott's technology

Major Challenges :

Identifying products that adequately satisfy customer requirements

Limited published data on porous metals and use in customer applications.

Coordinating across functions to respond quickly and accurately to opportunities.

Working directly with industry leaders who challenge norms and are continuously advancing.

Expected Performance Outcomes :

Engage Quickly : Begin interaction with customer within 6 hours of RFQ submittal

Drive Fast Resolution : Deliver solutions within 5 days of request.

Cost Accurately : Estimate costs within 10% of actual costs

Business Impact : Solutions must have above average EBIDTA returns

Required Experience :

3+ years in technical, customer-facing role and 8+ years in a manufacturing environment. Semiconductor industry experience is highly preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.

Experience leading cross functional teams to resolve technical solutions and / or launch new products

Technical Knowledge / Skills :

Knowledge of semiconductor fabs, equipment, and standards

Experience with fluid dynamics, contamination control, and materials / fittings used in semiconductor industry

Understanding how technical solutions recommended impact business financials

Comfortable synthesizing technical information and presenting to customers

Personal Attributes :

Self-starter and can independently prioritize tasks

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
