Overview

Seasonal Retail Sales Associate at Under Armour. The role is key for our brand during peak seasons, responsible for generating sales by delivering an exceptional shopping experience. The associate maximizes sales through efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable service, while keeping the store clean, organized, and well presented.

Responsibilities

  • Offer exceptional customer service, from a sincere welcome to efficient checkout
  • Help customers get the best out of themselves by suggesting appropriate clothing and footwear
  • Share knowledge and enthusiasm for our products
  • Restock, order, and clean the store
  • Work on the sales floor or in the backroom as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 16 years old
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays (varies by store)
  • Comfort with technology or willingness to learn (computers and mobile devices)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the role

    • Role Objective

    The Sales Associate contributes to store sales goals and KPIs by upholding brand values and delivering a unique athlete experience. The role reports to the Store Manager and performs routine tasks to support store operations. The role may assume the responsibilities of the Warehouse Specialist in their absence.

  • Sales and Omnichannel : Provide direct assistance to athletes to help achieve key sales performance targets and respond to omnichannel requests according to UA processes and policies
  • Brand Image and Customer Experience : Embrace UA service culture, meet customer expectations, and communicate brand messages per UA service model; integrate product knowledge through training
  • Retail Operations : Adhere to merchandising standards, store policies, and cash-handling procedures; comply with UA dress code and attendance policies; adhere to scheduled hours
  • Team Collaboration and Personal Growth : Work with teammates to achieve store objectives and pursue growth opportunities

    • Qualifications (Detailed)

  • Basic numerical literacy and communication skills; proficiency with computers and technology
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines

    • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 11 kg (25 lb)
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods with occasional breaks for merchandise handling
  • Ability to access all store areas including sales floor, backroom, and checkout area
