Medical Librarian and Research Coordinator - Physician Services (Days) (On-site)

Functions :
- Supports and understands overall Medical Staff Services departmental activities and needs
- Facilitates meetings and clinical research request for Tanner Health
- Helps maintain policies and required documentation / registration for various medical staff committees / programs including medical education and clinical research
- Manages and fulfills requests for research / literature, testing proctoring for students, and onboarding information for new medical staff
- Maintain and facilitate usage of system research resources for Tanner that support Medical Staff
Communication :
Schedules meetings and coordinates materials for various committees including research study request and medical education requestMaintains minutes and pertinent records for Medical Staff meetings as assignedHelps and supports any day-to-day request or inquiries from Tanner’s Medical StaffCoordinates and maintains supplies for the departmentCollaboration :
Provide group and individual instruction on the use of the library resources and electronic databases.Work with overall Medical Staff on data requests and reportsMaintain good relationships with vendors for the purpose of providing support on evidence-based resource tools available currently and strategically for future initiativesJudgement And Decisions :
Utilizes a range of computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Up-to-Date, Ebsco Host, and other software made available to perform job functions.Develops and evaluates Survey / Engagement data to provide feedback of Medical Staff needsProfessional Qualities :
Presents a professional image and demeanor that emphasizes communication skills and respectful interactions that align with Tanner’s culture and missionPerforms other duties as assigned by Medical Staff Services DirectorRequired Knowledge & Skills :
Degree in Business, Education, Library Sciences, Clinical ResearchThree years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, education, library science, or clinical research.
