Job Description

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician Level II to join our team specializing in Power Generation in Memphis, TN.

5,000 to 10,000 Sign on Bonus!!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

Completing preventative maintenance and / or basic repair activities on generators or components at the customer site with minimal direction.

Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner.

Applying the use of specialized tools and following documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools.

Completing required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens.

Completing training in line with skill and business requirements.

Adhere to all our relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following :

Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.

Experience with power generators, Load Banking, Preventive Maintenance, ATS, troubleshooting and diagnostic tools, new unit installs.

Intermediate level knowledge of and / or experience with of power generation products

Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products.

Intermediate) Technician Level II : Some relevant technician experience; qualified to perform work on an intermediate number of products in-scope for a diesel technician at this location; primarily engaged in moderately complex maintenance and repair; some exposure to moderate or complex diagnostics, requires limited direct supervision, may provide basic training or guidance to new technicians.

Advanced) Technician Level III : Significant relevant technician experience; qualified to perform work on most or all of products in-scope for a technician at this location; frequently engaged in complex diagnosis and repair; requires minimal to no supervision; ability to effectively train and guide less experienced technicians of varying skillsets.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

Apprentice Certified Power Generation / Electrical Technician (Preferred)

Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution

Current relevant electrical certification

Locally valid driving permit

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Qualifications

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be subject to our Pre-Employment Background Screening process that consists of a Criminal Background Check as well as Education and Work Experience Verification.

This position will require a Med-Card and we will also be required to complete a DMV driving report. CANDIDATE MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.

A current valid license is required for this role.

This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations.

This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

3 years driving experience.

This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use.

Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age.
