Your Responsibilities Include :
- Conducting technical investigations and resolving design, build, and test issues related to Receiver Exciter subsystems, CCAs, and components.
- Engaging in RF / Microwave circuit and subsystem design, modeling, simulation, and verification.
- Integrating and testing at component, CCA, and subsystem levels.
- Supporting the transition to production and providing technical assistance to manufacturing and test engineers.
- Implementing small projects or process improvements within your domain.
- Participating in design updates to address obsolescence and manufacturability challenges.
This role is based in Tewksbury, MA , particularly at 50 Apple Hill Drive, Assabet - Building 1, Tewksbury, MA, 01876 USA. It requires 100% on-site presence and may involve travel to nearby sites in Andover and Woburn , MA.
Basic Qualifications :
A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.Experience in microwave / RF systems, subsystems, and / or component design and testing.Knowledge in failure analysis and Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, preferably with supplier and factory issues.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance post-start. U.S. citizenship is required.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience testing and troubleshooting RF and Microwave components or subsystems, including up-converters, down converters, power amplifiers, waveform generators, RF modulators, and limiters.A background in designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost efficiency.Technical writing and formal presentation skills.Familiarity with engineering design and production environments.Experience with tools such as Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, and others.Knowledge in areas such as cascade analysis, filter design, circuit card assembly, and high-speed data converter testing.What We Offer :
