As a locum psychiatrist with CompHealth, you'll provide essential inpatient care for adults aged 18-55 in psychiatric units. This role is perfect for those who thrive in dynamic environments, managing crisis interventions, involuntary commitments, and substance abuse treatment.

Your Role at a Glance :

You'll enjoy a 7 on / 7 off schedule with day and night call responsibilities, treating approximately 12 patients daily with 2-4 admissions. Your expertise will be crucial in an inpatient psychiatric unit, where the average length of stay is 4-6 days.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide compassionate care to adult patients in a psychiatric setting.
• Manage crisis interventions and involuntary commitments.
• Utilize skills in seclusion, restraints, and involuntary medication management.
• Deliver effective substance abuse treatment.
