Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, a full-service funeral home and cemetery serving Northern Utah families for over 90 years, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated

• Funeral Service Intern
• to join our team.

This position is ideal for a student currently enrolled in a

• mortuary science program
• or preparing to begin their schooling. The role provides meaningful, hands-on experience in all aspects of funeral service under the supervision of licensed professionals.
• Responsibilities
• Assist licensed funeral directors in day-to-day operations.
• Participate in the preparation, care, and presentation of decedents.
• Support arrangement conferences, visitations, and funeral services with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas, vehicles, and equipment.
• Assist with filing, record keeping, and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Uphold the highest standards of care, respect, and confidentiality at all times.
• Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in an accredited
• mortuary science program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to serve families compassionately.
• Dependable, professional in appearance, and able to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of the funeral service schedule.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 per week
