Position Title : OR Tech (Tier 2) CST, Certified Surgical Tech $15K sign on bonus

Location : Kansas City, MO

Schedule : Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts (rotating weekends)

Shifts Available : Mixed Schedule or Nights

On-Call Requirement : Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility

Position Overview

The OR Tech (Tier 2) plays a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care. This skilled professional prepares the surgical suite, assists during procedures, and supports a multidisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence and patient safety. The Tier 2 designation reflects advanced technical ability across multiple specialties, though not yet in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical suites with required instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping to ensure comfort and safety.
• Scrub in and assist the surgical team by providing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Handle specimens and maintain accurate counts during procedures.
• Ensure adherence to sterile technique and participate in efficient room turnover.
• Collaborate closely with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to promote positive outcomes.
