Responsibilities Work in a hospital cardiac med / surg unit providing care to adult patients Night shift schedule from 7 : 00pm to 7 : 30am, three 12-hour shifts per week Unit serves patients with cardiac medical and surgical needs Uses Epic EMR and previous Epic experience is required Unit supports interdisciplinary care with collaboration among healthcare professionals Contribute to patient care planning, assessment, intervention, and evaluation as part of the interdisciplinary team Perform bedside laboratory testing and quality control per provider orders and hospital policy Promote evidence-based practice and professional development RTO (requested time off) is limited to 7 days per 13 week contract Returning travelers may not exceed one year of continuous assignment and must take a six-month break before returning No travel partners permitted Requirements Active Illinois RN license, including temporary licenses Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum of one year relevant nursing experience in a hospital setting Experience with Level 1 trauma is required Epic charting experience is required Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals allowed) Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628595.
