Job Details

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management.

Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.

Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to help guide business decisions.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Supervise, train, and mentor accounting team members.

Partner with operations and management teams to provide financial insights that improve profitability and efficiency.

Assist in audits (internal and external) by preparing schedules, reports, and documentation.

Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within hospitality, hotel, or restaurant industries.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Experience with hospitality industry accounting systems (e.g., M3, Oracle, Workday, Sage, or similar).

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
