Telemetry RN Job Details

Location : Highland, IL 62249 (Illinois travel nursing job)

Healthcare Setting : Medical Unit 2 – Telemetry

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : October 20, 2025

End Date : January 18, 2026

Shift : 12-hour nights (NOC), every other weekend required

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1950 - $2090

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN or in a related nursing specialty

BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)

Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of Highland, IL (travel nurse eligibility)

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend

Excellent communication, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for telemetry patients

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Provide patient education and support to patients and their families

Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record (EHR)

Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered environment
