Responsible for assisting Attorneys in preparation of required legal documents, pleadings, drafts, or correspondence, legal research, responding to client requests, tracking file locations, preparation of status reports to clients, and provision of other administrative assistance required for efficient department operation, drafting correspondence, and responding to difficult inquiries from clients or courts.

Principal Accountabilities :
- Prepares required drafts of legal documents, pleadings and correspondence as directed.
- Requests missing documents, run PACER and SCRA searches and orders Reinstatement / payoff figures.
- Organizes and obtains information needed for lawsuit files and coordinates co-counsel to facilitate hearing representation.
- Organizes on-line files, coordinates hearings, requests fee authorizations and manages multiple calendars.
- Enters relevant legal information into the client vendor systems to provide current status and document backup.
- Maintain electronic case file with all legal activity. Includes imaging documents and processing vendor invoices.
- Conducts communications with clients, borrowers, courts, and external parties as necessary or as directed by an attorney or manager.
- Performs all other duties as requested
- Pay $25-$27 per hour
Position Preferences :
Five plus years’ experience in civil litigation, mortgage banking, or real estate law.Excellent Communication and PC skills with the ability to adapt rapidly to a variety of systems.Must be able to manage workflow in a highly-active, high-volume environment and perform multiple duties simultaneously.3 years of Mortgage Default Serving (preferred)
