Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work on 34-bed medical surgical unit (maximum capacity 43 patients)

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 5 : 1

    • \n

  • Day shift staffing : 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, 1 unit secretary

    • \n

  • Night shift staffing : 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, 1 unit secretary

    • \n

  • Work with remote telemetry equipment

    • \n

  • Use Meditech electronic medical records system

    • \n

  • BLS certification required

    • \n

  • NIH Stroke certification preferred

    • \n

  • ACLS certification preferred

    • \n

  • General medical surgical procedures with stroke and neurology focus

    • \n

  • Navy scrubs required

    • \n

  • Must demonstrate upbeat, engaged, and compassionate personality
