Med / Surg Tele RN Job Details Location : Ionia, Michigan (48846) – Michigan nursing jobs Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital – Med / Surg Telemetry Unit Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 9 / 2026) Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 – 07 : 30) Total Weekly Hours : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,840 - $1,890 per week Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 5 Weekend Rotation : Every other or every third weekend Charting System : EPIC Free Parking Available Scrub Color : Hunter Green Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan by start date At least 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred) Certifications : ACLS and BLS (AHA preferred) EPIC charting experience preferred (training provided during orientation) Proof of high school education required Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med / Surg Telemetry setting Monitor and manage patients with CHF, diabetes, orthopedic conditions, chest pain, pneumonia, and COPD Administer and manage insulin and Cardizem drips (no ventilators) Utilize Pyxis and EPIC systems for medication administration and charting Perform blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, wound care, and IV management Interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases (ABGs) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed Work scheduled weekends as required Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team as a Travel Med / Surg Telemetry RN in Ionia, Michigan.
