Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) for a 13-week contract. This role offers a guaranteed 36-hour workweek and the opportunity to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to residents in a supportive clinical environment. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical skills, professionalism, and a passion for helping patients regain mobility and independence.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Follow individualized care plans to support patient rehabilitation and functional improvement.
  • Document treatment sessions accurately and in accordance with SNF standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
  • Assist with patient transfers, mobility exercises, and therapeutic activities.
  • Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment.

    • Requirements :

  • Active and current Texas PTA license.
  • SNF experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, clinical, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work scheduled daytime shifts consistently throughout the contract period.
  • BLS certification may be required based on facility standards.
