Responsibilities
Store Replenishment is responsible for loading and securing product on our trucks waiting to make their road trip across the country to our many stores.Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains accuracy while pulling, packing and loading productUtilizes voice picking to accurately fulfill customer or store replenishment ordersUnderstands all areas of the outbound process, including Direct to Customer (e-commerce) and Store ReplenishmentReceives, inspects, processes and accepts merchandise into the Distribution CenterChecks in freight and ensures accuracy of products receivedStows product throughout the Distribution Center ensuring accuracyOperates motorized and non-motorized equipment (certification required)Consistently meets all Labor Management and productivity standardsMaintains a clean and safe Distribution Center, adhering to safety policies and proceduresTrains and supports other departments throughout the Distribution Center as neededAbility to work in a non-climate controlled environmentArrives promptly to work the assigned scheduleResponsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential / sensitive company and customer informationQualifications
Experience and Skills Required
Must be 18 years of age or olderHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum 3 months combined work historyExperience working in a Distribution Center or warehouse environment is preferredKnowledge of various distribution systems such as labor management system, radio frequency devices and voice picking preferredAbility to pass background checks and investigations due to foreign, federal, state and local regulations; based on position responsibility and sensitivity, periodic check and reinvestigations may be performedAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe mannerIs committed to working scheduled hours and has the flexibility to work additional hours based on changing business needsAbility to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional manner, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organizationFlexible, with a positive attitude and passion for knowledgePossesses focused attention to detail while working quickly and accurately under pressureAbility to work within and exemplify The Container Store brand which we describe as matchless, fun, authentic, team-focused and life-changingThe Container Store promotes a smoke-free, drug-free environment.
