Job Summary :
The Team Lead – Language Interpretation will be responsible for supervising and guiding a team of interpreters to ensure high-quality service delivery across all supported languages. The role involves overseeing daily operations, monitoring performance, maintaining client satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs). The Team Lead acts as a key liaison between interpreters, operations, quality, and management teams to drive performance excellence and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, supervise, and support a team of interpreters across multiple languages (onsite and / or remote).
- Manage daily operations including attendance, scheduling, shift adherence, and coverage.
- Monitor interpreter performance metrics such as call quality, productivity, utilization, and punctuality.
- Conduct regular one-on-one sessions, feedback discussions, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate with the Quality and Training teams to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Handle interpreter and client escalations professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of new interpreters.
- Track and report team KPIs, preparing weekly and monthly performance summaries.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, data confidentiality, and client-specific requirements.

Qualifications and Skills :
Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred in Linguistics, Communication, or related field).Experience : Minimum 3–5 years in the interpretation or language services industry, with 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.Strong understanding of interpretation processes, SLA management, and client interaction.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with workforce or CRM tools.Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.Flexibility to work in rotational shifts as per business needs.________________________________________
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in managing multilingual or geographically dispersed teams.Familiarity with remote / telephonic interpretation platforms and tools.Certification in language services, project management, or team leadership (preferred).________________________________________
