Truck Driver

Immediate opening for a non CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Bloomfield, CT.

$1107 or more per week - And it gets better.

Driver Positions Pay Weekly

Hourly Pay : $25.75 Per Hour

Hours Per Week : 45 - 50 hours per week

Paid Training

Schedule : Wednesday - Saturday

Start Time : 4 : 00 PM - 4 : 00 AM Wednesday half day

Deliver SOLO To : Bloomfield Yard

Route : Local Home Daily

Tractor Type : Ottowa

Able to accommodate an Automatic Restriction

Trailer Type : 36', 48' and 53' Reefer

Freight : No Touch

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age

Must have verifiable driving experience in "like" equipment :

• 9 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle Check including Drug and Alcohol Verification from Previous Employers for the Last 3 Years

Pass a DOT Physical

Pass a Yard Driver Examination

Must have a valid driver's license

Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Important Note : Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and / or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for safely handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard, but cannot drive on public roads

The position requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service
