Job descriptionInpatient : Yes Telehealth : No Supervision of APPs expected : No Number of exam rooms per provider : 8 bed OBED Medical Imaging : Yes Lab & Pharmacy : Yes Clinic provider daily volume : 1389 visits to OBED per year, roughly 463 result in deliveries MFM will be on call. There are residents but the OB Hospitalist will not be in charge of them. No GYN responsibilities EMR : Epic OBED patients Emergent patients (vaginal deliveries and C-sections) Patients without primary OBGYN Only maternity transport team in Iowa Board Certified in OB / GYN - REQUIRED (can accept truly board eligible candidates) Active IA License (STRONGLY preferred) or Active IMLC - REQUIRED Physician must be able to start December 24, 2025 - REQUIRED Clean Malpractice / Background - REQUIRED Avoid the hassle of permanent relocation by taking on temporary assignments in various locations, experiencing different communities without long-term commitment. - Patient Contact Hours : 7a-7a
- Shift length : 24 hours (required)
- 6.5 shifts per month
- On Call : 24 / 7 (in house call. call rooms are available.)
