Job Summary
We are seeking a Controller to join our small team. In this role, you will monitor the company's financial status and accounting policies, review budgets, and ensure all payments are submitted in a timely and watched fashion. Any experience in HR would be a plus. This essential position ensures our company monitors all expenditures and is compliant with all accounting regulations, mitigates risks, and maximizes profits. The ideal candidate is an experienced Controller with excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Responsibilities
Create, implement, and update company accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulationsCommunicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of charges and paymentsReview and analyze budgets, costs, and profitsSet and monitor key performance indicatorsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developmentsCreate risk assessment modelsCreate and present reports on the company's financial performanceQualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or FinanceCertification as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not requiredPrevious experience as a Controller or in a similar position is preferredAny role in HR or related field is preferredUnderstanding of all relevant accounting principles, procedures, and regulationsFamiliarity with Microsoft Excel, databases, and accounting softwareStrong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skillsJ-18808-Ljbffr
