Production Manager Structural, Misc., & Ornamental Steel

We're looking for a seasoned Production Manager with a strong background in the steel industryparticularly structural, ornamental, or miscellaneous steel fabrication. This is a critical leadership role within our organization, focused on optimizing production workflows, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring on-time project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee day-to-day production operations and scheduling
• Assist with purchasing
• Lead, train, and manage shop personnel to ensure efficiency and safety
• Coordinate closely with project managers, estimators, and the fabrication team
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout production
• Continuously look for ways to improve processes, timelines, and output
• Interpret and work with technical drawings and blueprints
• Support implementation of new software systems (ERP / fabrication management tools)
