• Work 3x12 hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Float required to cardiac stepdown unit and PICU
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• PICU RN will be accepted and trained on CVPICU
• Patient ratio of 1 : 1-2
• Required certifications : BLS and PALS
• Skillset requirements include telemetry and ventilators
• Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
• Must have Indiana license and certifications in hand to submit
• Work with complex heart patients, VAD patients, and heart transplant program patients
• Floating is 100% required to other units within hospital or affiliate hospitals
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Non-billable modules averaging 8-16 hours must be completed pre-start
• Two supervisor references required
• University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
