We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician (Contractor) to support our Facilities team 20-40 hours on a weekly basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of our spa and salon locations. This is a hands-on contractor position where you’ll complete day-to-day maintenance tasks, preventative work, and coordinate with outside contractors when specialized support is required. The schedule is evening to late-night (M–F, 4pm–12 : 30am) , and occasional overnight work may be expected to minimize disruption to daily operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Responsibilities include, but not limited to :

• Perform routine facility maintenance, including changing air filters, light bulbs, and minor electrical repairs (e.g., replacing dimmers, light fixtures).
• Complete minor plumbing repairs such as fixing leaky sinks, clogged drains, toilets, and replacing faucets.
• Conduct painting, millwork repairs (wood / laminate damage, hinges), and general cosmetic upkeep.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning air vents, washing machine filters, grout care, and refinishing or deep cleaning floors.
• Support overall facility cleanliness by assisting with deep cleaning projects and maintaining storefront presentation.
• Perform repairs and replacements (e.g., sinks, countertops) and assist with special projects as assigned.
• Help transport and organize materials or supplies across multiple locations.
• Manage and prioritize work orders through platforms like Freshdesk.
• Build and maintain a network of reliable contractors and vendors for specialized repairs.
• Obtain and oversee bids for larger or outsourced projects.
• Coordinate after-hours work when necessary, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Balance hands-on repair work with delegation to outside trades as needed
