Location : Key West, FL

Type : On-site

Schedule : Full-Time, Schedule Varies

Type of contract : Direct Hire

Pay rate : $38.94 - $50.62 per hour (based on experience)

Bonus : Sign-on Bonus up to $12,000

Description :

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a collaborative and innovative environment? We are seeking a licensed Radiation Therapist 1 to join a dynamic oncology team at a respected medical facility in Key West, Florida.

In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Chief Radiation Therapist to support the delivery of therapeutic radiation treatments. As a key contributor to patient care, you will ensure compliance with physician directives, departmental protocols, and state regulations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and excellence.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Administering prescribed radiation therapy to patients.
  • Verifying patient identity, treatment plans, and machine parameters.
  • Operating sophisticated radiation equipment with precision and care.
  • Collaborating closely with oncologists, dosimetrists, nurses, and support staff.
  • Upholding a culture of empathy, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Requirements : Education :

  • Associate’s Degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Science with Radiation Therapy Certification.
  • After January 2015, an Associate Degree with Radiation Therapy Certification is required.
  • Licenses / Certifications :

  • ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiation Therapy.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Additional Qualifications :

  • Strong foundational knowledge of Radiation Oncology practices.
  • Ability to work with advanced medical technology and imaging systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification must be awarded by an institution accredited by ARRT.
