Job Summary / Description :
Gray Television (WOIO CBS , WUAB CW , WTCL Telemundo Cleveland, and Gray Digital Media) in Cleveland has a rare opening for an energetic, positive-minded salesperson.
You will be responsible for developing new businesses in Northeast Ohio and the surrounding communities. You will consult with local business owners to create advertising campaigns that exceed their business goals and objectives.
Ideal candidates have a strong understanding of the sales process, and excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and closing.
You should be a quick learner, with strong communication skills and the ability to showcase our marketing solutions in a compelling way.
Base salary, plus bonus plan. Industry-leading training program provided. MVR check required.
Duties / Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Find and set meetings, through cold calling, with locally based businesses, in Cleveland and surrounding communities, that can benefit from our expertise in the marketing and advertising industry.
- Prepare comprehensive marketing campaigns for each client, with the help of our team of specialists, to help clients achieve a better ROI from their marketing dollars.
- Review the performance of advertising campaigns on a regular basis with the client to ensure that they are delivering, and make tactical adjustments as necessary.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals on a consistent basis
- Entertain / host clients at various local sporting and entertainment events. Browns, Cavs, Monsters, etc.
Qualifications / Requirements :
- years of cold calling or sales-related experience is preferred
- Experience in media sales is a plus, but not required
- Excellent writing and communication skills, experience using MS Office products
- Bachelors Degree
