Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team specializing in insurance and litigation. The ideal candidate will contribute to our legal efforts by providing exceptional support in case preparation, research, and client representation in insurance defense matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents and court filings
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
  • Represent clients in court hearings and negotiations
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys in developing case strategies
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and legal advice
  • Review insurance policies and provide coverage analysis
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery requests
  • Participate in depositions and other legal proceedings
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active state bar membership
  • 1-3 years of experience in litigation or insurance defense
  • Strong understanding of insurance coverage laws
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
