Job description

Forklift Driver Associate

Our client, a leading player in the Food Manufacturing Industry, is seeking a Forklift Driver Associate to join their team. As a Forklift Driver, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a cold and fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title : Forklift Driver (Stand Up Reach, Sit Down, Electric Pallet Jack)

Location : Fort Worth, TX

Pay Range : $19.05

Shifts : 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday (some Saturdays)

What's the Job?

  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products efficiently.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment by pulling, packing, and loading them accurately.
  • Utilize RF scanners to manage inventory movements throughout the facility.
  • Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when necessary.

What's Needed?

  • The ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively within the work environment.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and inventory control concepts.
  • Experience operating Stand-up Reach Trucks, Sit Down and electric pallet jacks safely.
  • Understanding of allergen control procedures and food safety standards.
