Requirements :

IL license

1 year of experience

Must have Post-op care of patients, critical thinking skills

AHA BLS

Other Details : Travelers are the 1st to float. Will float to unit with same level of experience. If an ICU RN floats to general unit, they take a team of 3 patients.Nurse : Patient Ratios : 4-5 / RN days 5-6 / RN nights.Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Post op surgical , trauma, overflow medical, dressing changes, wound care, IV therapy, pain management, drains, NGs, central lines, TPN.
