Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Overview

This position is posted for one of our valued SaaS / Fintech Clients. We are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to drive demand generation, strengthen market positioning, build brand authority, and scale a high-performing marketing organization that will support continued enterprise customer acquisition and expansion. The Chief Marketing Officer will serve as a critical member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO. This individual will lead all aspects of marketing with a significant focus on revenue-driving programs including demand generation, digital marketing, product marketing, brand building, customer marketing, and market positioning.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in SaaS marketing, particularly in building and scaling programs targeted to the office of the CFO, including controllers, accountants, FP&A leaders, and finance executives. This individual will be responsible for architecting and executing a scalable, data-driven go-to-market strategy that fuels both new customer acquisition and expansion within existing customers. The successful candidate must be both a strategic leader and a hands-on operator capable of building and mentoring high-performance teams, collaborating cross-functionally and driving accountability for results.

Key Responsibilities

• Demand Generation & Revenue Marketing

Own and scale a predictable, measurable, and ROI-positive demand generation engine.

Evolve and strengthen the company’s brand positioning to further establish category authority and market differentiation.

Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and the Executive Team to refine ICPs, pricing, packaging, and market entry strategies.

Build, develop, and lead a world-class marketing organization capable of scaling with the company’s growth trajectory.

Act as a true business partner to Sales, Product, Customer Success, and the broader executive leadership team.

Minimum 15 years of progressive marketing leadership experience within SaaS or technology companies.
