Position Summary :

The 'Manager Security' assists the 'SR Manager Security' (Director of Security) in the daily operation of the Security Office. They will organize, monitor, supervise, and appraise the Security Department at Winter Park Resort. Responsibilities include conducting monthly forecast and variance analysis, increasing security revenue, monitoring and protecting assets exceeding $200 million, and handling situations involving guests, employees, and company assets. The role also involves training, security projects, and adherence to policies, laws, and safety codes.

Essential Duties :

  • Monitor buildings and vehicles with gate cards in an unarmed capacity
  • Manage 24-hour building access for guests and employees
  • Schedule staff and maintain shift coverage
  • Provide 24-hour assistance and decision-making support
  • Enforce security policies and procedures
  • Assist with traffic control, guest complaints, lost & found, snow removal calls, and patrols
  • Document incidents and reports within required timeframes
  • Provide basic medical assistance and support emergency responses
  • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and assist with investigations
  • Oversee the Lost and Found Department
  • Train staff, manage budgets, and track expenses
  • Support fire and security systems maintenance
  • Handle disturbances, enforce liquor and safety laws, and manage incident reports
  • Assist with special events and crowd control
  • Perform other duties as assigned, with flexibility for evolving responsibilities
  • Qualifications :

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Supervisory or leadership experience
  • Locksmithing, alarm systems, CCTV, and access system knowledge
  • Risk management, theft prevention, and accident investigation skills
  • Experience with law enforcement liaison, fire safety, and emergency medical assistance
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License
  • Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and security-related credentials preferred
  • Wage :

    Range : $61,000 – 80,000. Actual pay varies based on experience, education, and responsibilities.

    Physical Demands & Working Conditions :

    This role may require working evenings, weekends, holidays, and outdoor conditions with exposure to cold, snow, wind, rain, high altitude, and challenging terrain. Physical activity includes lifting, walking, and working in strenuous environments.
