Automated Logistics Information Systems Specialist

The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to Automated Logistics Information Systems and Programs to all state / territory activities / organizations and perform a wide range of specialized methods / techniques for planning; analyzing and identifying problems in order to develop and implement resolutions to administrative and systemic programs throughout the organization. Utilizes an extensive knowledge of logistics programs / operations and a clear understanding of automated systems to manage projects and programs for systems integration of CSS automation. Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves technical problems identified in trouble tickets and performs initial setup of specified Automated Logistics Information System computers to include loading software, configuring modem and network card(s), assigning Internet Protocol IP addresses with correct subnet, connectivity to the network, and completing technical inspections. Analyzes requirements, manages, and coordinates hardware Automated Logistics Information System and peripherals pertaining to the receipt, distribution, installation, and replacement of systems. Represents the Supervisor Logistics Management Specialist / DCSLOG on DCSIM Configuration Control Boards CCBs. Performs other duties as assigned.

Conditions of employment :

• May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
• Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
• For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.
• Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
• Membership in the Colorado Army National Guard.
• Must hold the grade of E-7 thru W-5.
• Submit all required documentation.
• For positions requiring the operation for motor vehicle, candidates must have a valid state driver's license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.
