Activity Coordinator

Southview Acres Healthcare Center is recruiting for a Activities Coordinator to become a part of our team!

Providing our residents with fun and entertainment is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do at the facility, and we are looking for someone with a passion for caring for others and looking to touch the lives of our residents in a positive way!

The job will entail coordinating and creating the program calendar, attending IDT, completing assessments/care plans, attending care conferences, supervising volunteers, implementing group, one to one programs, and special events.

Hours: 4 days/week, every other weekend rotation

Job Requirements:

• A college diploma with a degree in therapeutic recreation, music therapy, COTA.

• Experience working in LTC/Memory Care

• Music background preferred but not necessary

• A desire to take care of others

• A caring demeanor and positive attitude

• The motivation to get tasks completed timely and efficiently

• Oral and Written English Communication Skills

• A teamwork attitude
