Radiology Transporter

The Radiology Transporter transports patients to and from the Radiology Department. Other duties include but are not limited to; darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, dressing patients and front office duties. This performs clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients. Other duties include, but are not limited to, filing patient reports, retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records. The Radiology Transport / Aide should demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology, person should demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner. Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and by running errands throughout the facility.

Qualifications :

• Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment
• Transportation experience preferred
• Starting April 2014, all new hires will require a High School diploma or Equivalent

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $15 to $21.72. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
