Human Resources Talent Partner Leader
Guardian is seeking a Human Resources Talent Partner Leader to partner and drive strategic transformation of our Digital and Technology organization. This role requires strong leadership and consultative skills to facilitate organizational, talent, and culture change, while building leadership capability. This role requires the HRTP to be both strategic and hands-on to execute in many facets of talent planning, demonstrating the ability to solve problems, and coach leaders through transformation and change.
Responsibilities include :
- Acting as a strategic thought leader for respective client groups within the Digital & Technology organization.
- Providing trusted consultation and thought leadership to senior leaders and their teams, developing and implementing talent strategies, both short and long-term.
- Anticipating future organization and talent requirements and in partnership with leaders, making actionable organization design recommendations.
- Designing and implementing engagement and retention strategies focusing on key leaders and individuals with skills critical to the organization.
- Developing effective leaders within the organization, focusing on leadership needs and key themes identified as part of talent discussions.
- Supporting the leadership team through deployment of transformation, change management strategies, and communication plans.
- Establishing and monitoring organization and talent metrics aligned with the business strategy.
- Recommending solutions to improve processes, team dynamics, etc. to optimize organizational effectiveness.
- Coaching leaders on their personal efficacy and leadership impact.
- Maintaining an effective level of business literacy and technology savvy to substantively contribute to the success of the organization.
- Leveraging enterprise and HR Center of Excellence resources to bring comprehensive HR solutions to the business.
- Executing enterprise HR initiatives and processes in partnership with COEs.

Business acumen : 10 plus years of human resources experience, with demonstrated business acumen and ability to create and implement human capital initiatives that enable the business strategy.Data judgment : Experience leveraging data to influence decision making outcomes with ability to "tell the story".Strategic thinking : Ability to develop and execute solutions to business challenges and connect the dots to influence strategic business decisions.Relationship management / collaboration : Ability to build relationships and quickly earn the trust of leaders, partners, key stakeholders, and collaborators.Talent management : Demonstrated expertise in business and talent strategy, culture change, workforce planning, data and analytics, organizational design, talent management, and transformational organizational changes.Agility : Ability to respond to shifts in the business environment and to adapt and change course when necessary.Position qualifications include :
10 plus years of progressive human resources business partner experience with a strong business acumen.BA / BS required, MBA / MS in Human Resources or related skills in technology function highly desirable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for multiple audiences including staff, management, and senior executives.Proven project leader experience in a highly matrixed organization working across many businesses.High degree of self-direction, demonstrating initiative and an ability to navigate multiple priorities effectively and deliver results in a dynamic environment.Detail oriented mindset with a disciplined approach to process.Track record of instilling best practices and innovation into the HR function and leveraging COE's to bring innovation to the business.Location : The primary location for this position is New York, NY with travel to other offices as needed.
Travel : 10-15% travel as needed.
Salary Range : $155,370.00 - $255,255.00 The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
