Senior Accountant

Description : Senior Accountant – Construction Industry

Location : On-site, M–F, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Our client, a well-established construction company, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is fully on-site and offers a professional environment, strong leadership, and opportunities for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage all aspects of construction accounting, including AIA billing, payments, and continuation applications

Collaborate with project managers on billing, expenses, and job costing

Oversee reconciliations and ensure accurate financial reporting

Support operational and financial decision-making with timely and accurate data

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

5+ years of accounting experience within a construction company environment

Strong knowledge of AIA billing and construction project accounting

Preferred : experience with Sage, NetSuite, MS Dynamics or ERP software for general contractors, specialty contractors, construction managers, and real estate developers.
