Junior Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with a few years of accounting experience looking to grow in a dynamic and supportive environment. This position is 100% onsite in Norwalk, CT and the salary is 50-65k

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant :

Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes

Support the preparation of monthly financial statements

Prepare journal entries and perform bank reconciliations

Handle ad hoc projects and provide additional support as needed

Collaborate closely with the Senior Accountant on various accounting tasks

Preferred Qualifications of the Junior Accountant :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Strong attention to detail and comfortable with data entry

Basic Excel skills and a willingness to expand technical knowledge

Eager to learn and develop within a professional accounting setting
