ATSG Benefits Specialist

Description

The HR Benefits Specialist position assists with and supports the administration of all benefit programs, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, COBRA, life insurance, and short-and long-term disability insurance. The Specialist additionally assists with worker compensation and leave administration as needed. Duties include :

• Assist in managing processes for benefits enrollment, changes, and cancellations for employees and their dependents
• Performs administration clerical duties in support of selecting and maintaining corporate health and welfare benefits (prepares correspondence for mail, email, document scans, filing, research, presentation development, meeting schedules / invites / set-up, etc.).
• Maintains databases, runs reports to support benefit administration and leave management (health and welfare billing, and reconciliation processes; wellness program administration; arrears invoicing, collections, and reconciliation; ACA; Open Enrollment; COBRA; leave reporting).
• Provides benefit, leave, and worker compensation customer service to all employees and management within ATSG entities (answers questions, supports problem resolution, contacts vendors, etc.).
• Performs and / or supports benefit open enrollment setup and processing in the HCM system
• Performs and / or supports ACA tracking, administration, reconciliation, and reporting in the HCM system
• Performs and / or supports health and welfare events (wellness fairs, onsite dental, vaccination, mammography, blood drive, employee educational / promotional events, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.
