Krazan & Associates, Inc . is a full-service engineering firm with offices across the West Coast. We are seeking an AWS - Certified Welding inspector to join our team in Tacoma, WA . This is a great opportunity for a motivated Welding Inspector that values professional development and technical excellence.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all welding activities on construction projects meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. This role plays a critical part in upholding structural integrity and safety of the work we inspect.

Responsibilities :

• Perform visual and nondestructive inspections of welded joints in accordance with AWS, WABO, ICC, and other applicable standards.
• Verify welder qualifications and welding procedure specifications (WPS)
• Monitor field welding activities and ensure compliance with project requirements
• Document inspection results, generate reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of welding codes, materials, and inspection techniques.
