Express Lane Technician

Mount Pleasant Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, a locally Owned and Operated Family Dealership, is seeking a reliable, high-energy Express Lane Lube Technician to join our growing service team. This entry-level or early-career role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, thrives in a team setting, and is eager to grow their skills in a structured, high-volume environment. You'll be responsible for completing routine maintenance services that keep our customers’ vehicles safe and running smoothly—while delivering the fast, friendly experience we’re known for. Key Responsibilities : Perform oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, wiper and air filter installations Conduct multi-point inspections and communicate recommendations to advisors Check and top off fluid levels, inspect tires, brakes, lights, and basic safety components Maintain a clean and organized work bay, tools, and service area Adhere to dealership and manufacturer safety protocols Assist with other service lane duties as needed, including vehicle movement and light facility upkeep Qualifications : Previous lube tech or express lane experience is preferred, but not required—we will train the right person Ability to follow a process and complete tasks with accuracy and attention to detail Willingness to learn and grow within a structured service environment Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Positive, dependable, and professional attitude What We Offer : Competitive hourly pay : $20–$25 / hour, based on experience Paid training and Mopar certification opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunity to grow into flat-rate technician roles A clean, well-equipped shop and a team-oriented, family-run environment If you're ready to start or grow your career in the automotive service industry, join a dealership that invests in its people and believes in promoting from within.
