JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Clinic Nurse
DEPARTMENT: Nursing
REPORTS TO: Director of Nursing
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate nursing services for clients in the Outpatient Clinic. Consults with medical personnel for the medical component of patient care. Serves as health care representative for various community services, health fairs and family support groups. Responsible for case management involving medication treatment plant, patient teaching, counseling and assistance as needed. Confers with pharmacy, sales representatives and other health care providers to coordinate various activities.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in a mental or behavioral organization.
CERTIFICATION OR LICENSES REQUIRED: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
