Job description5+ years of experience with developing SpringBoot and SpringBatch applications and deploying to Cloud (GCP or Azure). 3+ years of experience with implementing and deploying microservices to the Cloud (GCP or Azure). 1+ years distributed cache technologies such as Redis. 1+ years of experience building responsive front-end applications using React and integration with RESTful APIs or GraphQL services 1+ years event and pub / sub technologies like Azure Pub / Sub, or Kafka. Knowledge of software design patterns. Proven practical experience operating in a large-scale production environment. Prior experience with performance analysis and optimization of web services and software. Working experience with AEM - DAM implementation would be great.
Title : Sr. Java Backend Developer
Location : Issaquah, WA (Hybrid model three days onsite per week)
W2 Contract
Required :
- Minimum 10 years experience in performing API microservices development using SpringBoot and Java.
- Minimum 10 years of application development experience in Java.
- Experience with developing and running applications in a public cloud environment (GCP preferred).
- Hands-on working knowledge of a major relational database (DB2, SQL Server etc.) and / or NoSql.
- Experience working in CI / CD, and designing and delivering DevOps automation for app deployment and testing.
- Experience programming in databases such as Oracle, CosmosDB or SpannerDB.
- Possesses a strong understanding of the software development process (SDLC).
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and leveraging design patterns.
- Strong knowledge and experience working with databases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate to both technical and business audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to execute against iteration plans and deliver assignments within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Able to support off-hours work as required, including weekends, holidays, and 24 / 7 on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis.
