Senior Backend Developer

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join their team working on key projects in the Bitcoin and FinTech industry.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to implement new features, improvements, and fixes to the reference client

Ensure the platform is secure and capable of executing a high volume of transactions without disruption

Participate in design and code reviews, ensuring best engineering practices are followed

Required Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming, particularly Java

Proven experience working on technologically challenging and complex projects

Knowledge and experience with Web3; experience with protocol development is a plus

Knowledge of Bitcoin or Ethereum is an advantage

High regard for security in software development
