Position Summary :
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is accepting applications for a full-time Food Service Manager in the Dining Services department. This position plays a key leadership role in supporting the daily success of our campus dining operations by overseeing culinary functions and ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and sanitation. The Food Service Manager leads and directs dining services staff in the setup, preparation, service, and breakdown of meals, while actively coordinating with management, team members, and customers to maintain efficient and effective service.
Key responsibilities include shift planning, food and labor cost management, inventory control, and maintaining proper sanitation standards. This position requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced dining environment.
The salary range for this position is $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience. The University of Wisconsin System offers a nationally top ranked retirement plan and a comprehensive benefits package.
