Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This K-12 school-based role in Beaufort, SC seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide onsite support throughout the 2024-2026 school years under a contract lasting through June 1, 2026. The position offers a 37.5-hour workweek and emphasizes offering effective speech and language intervention to students from kindergarten through grade 12.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to K-12 students in a school setting
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, ensuring individualized plans that support educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy programs
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student educational planning
Qualifications :
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred; Candidates with Clinical Fellowship (CF) status or SLPA credentials are also encouraged to applyExperience working within an educational setting, particularly with K-12 student populationsAbility to manage caseload efficiently and provide patient-centered careStrong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and parent engagementValid licensure for South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)Location :
