Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job description: Skilled Nursing facility is hiring experienced certified occupational therapy assistant for contract and permanent opportunities. Contracts Hayward Fremont Stockton Perm Fremont Hayward Schedule: 8A-4:30PM Job Responsibilities: Patient Care: Implement OT treatment plans, provide therapy (e.g., fine motor, sensory integration), guide use of adaptive equipment, and teach daily living skills. Monitoring & Documentation: Observe patients, record progress, report to the supervising OT, and complete necessary paperwork. Patient & Family Education: Teach strategies for managing conditions and improving function. Collaboration: Work within an interdisciplinary team (OTs, PTs, etc.) to ensure comprehensive care. Environment Adaptation: Help clients adapt environments or tasks for greater independence (e.g., at home, work, or school). Requirements: Active CA COTA License/Certification At least 1 year of recent experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
